Dept of human services will help with that, because it's in their best interest, longterm. They will get you funding for childcare, then while your awaiting the completion of your GED, apply for grants & loans. P.S. I have a 4 yr. had to do it around life, with just one child, and no parents to help with daycare, if you have to work it around life, it's HARD (Many instuctors these days think that their class if the only thing you have in life to do, kid problems more than once or twice, to them mean your not dedicated). I took me 20 yr.s and I still, I have 20 more than needed if I had gotten to do a straight 4yr run, but I'm about 14 hours short of the piece of paper, and left with a $25,000 fed. loan. You might want to concider a vocational school, then get a job making the better than $5.50-$8.50 hr. then try college. Just a thought, there are several options, good luck with it.

WHERE I FOUND REAL GRANT HELP...

My patience was about to run out, but finally after my 3rd attempt my post has taken:)  I have dial-up, which that in it's self would be enough for some to think I need to move, & I agree, and I'm working on that.  Then after my 2nd attempt, microsoft word, or something here woulnd't let me copy & paste.  

Tip #1, if on dial-up, go to the library :) or find a friend with high speed :)

Well I've read a few of your pages, so my complaint above is really pretty petty, so I'll change gears.

My life is no bed of roses, I work for a company that doesn't even know what I look like, other than the site manager that I see every few months, but I'm not a brown nose type, so it works for me, and that is what security jobs are suppose to be, hours of seclusion, I love it.

Here's why I'm here, I have also researched grant sites on search engines, my tip, give up.  I went to Ebay and paid $2, and got more than I ever got off the search engines.  It's good solid information, I even got information from that crazy infomercial guy (Yellow ??? all over his suits) included in the package.

My goal has always been to work for myself, I've tried every thing I think out there, finally after a few years with out internet (Phone company deal), and after getting it again, I picked up where I left off, in search of another way to replace my employer.  I will keep trying, and someday do it, or so I believe.

I'm not much of a chit chatter, & like you all, don't have much $, so big vacations will never happen for me, any time soon, so I spend time playing games, I found one site that's a bunch of fun, if you would like to play for FREE.  There's a large variety of games sites on this web page, hope you all have as much fun as I have been having.
